x² Stingray Copter Cube (3D Printed)

This puzzle may look a bit confusing at first glance, but it’s actually a Mezon Curvy Copter (edit: now invented by Wu Zhe at Dec 28, 2024) with additional cuts. Those new cuts make the 6 mezon-ed axes able to turn under solved state. Also, those cuts create some new type of pieces that do not exist on regular Curvy Copter.

The original idea was to extend the stored cut of the Curvy Copter Plus and make a further unbandaged curvy copter, but while drawing I realized that those new cuts I added fit perfectly for a mezon-ed copter, so here it is.

The name comes from the surface pattern, the new cuts create a shape that looks a bit like stingray.

This cube has been printed by two kinds of method & material. Alert: light green may NOT say stable as the video, highly recommend you to buy the black color.

1. Light Green color :
    printed by SLA with Resin
    size : 6.66 cm
    N.Weight ~170 g

2. Black color:
     Printed by SLS with Nylon,
     size : 6.66 cm
     N.Weight ~300 g
     G.Weight: 670 g
     condition: 100% brand new, stickers placed.

Storage remind: 
1. HDT of resin is approx. 55℃/131℉, so it’s necessary to store it in a cool place.
2. Resin is an easily oxidized material, so it should be kept in a dry place without sunlight. It’s suggested to put it in the original box, and it’s not a good choice to keep it on the cabinet or shelf directly.
3. The surface of the Nylon printed version is kind of no so smooth so the stickers may not easy to attach on. So please not replace the stickers if NOT necessary.
