The geometry of this puzzle is called the 6-truncated triakis tetrahedron, it has 12 quasi-pentagonal faces and 4 hexagonal faces, the quasi-pentagonal faces can only make jumbling turns. The name of it comes from Ian Henriksen's Curse and the pattern on the hexagonal faces.
This puzzle is similar to David Pitcher's Jumball, while Jumball used straight cuts, this cube was curvy cutted to show the pieces hidden in Jumball and added stored cuts on the edge pieces.
While unbandaged the pieces hidden in this puzzle, the internal bandaging was still inevitable.
This cube has been printed by two kinds of method & material:
1. Light Green color : printed by SLA with Resin size 7.5cm N.Weight ~120g G.Weight: 390g condition: 100% brand new, stickers placed.
2. Black color: Printed by SLS with Nylon, size 7.5cm N.Weight ~110g G.Weight: 370g condition: 100% brand new, stickers placed.
Storage remind: 1. HDT of resin is approx. 55℃/131℉, so it’s necessary to store it in a cool place. 2. Resin is an easily oxidized material, so it should be kept in a dry place without sunlight. It’s suggested to put it in the original box, and it’s not a good choice to keep it on the cabinet or shelf directly. 3. The surface of the Nylon printed version is kind of no so smooth so the stickers may not easy to attach on. So please not replace the stickers if NOT necessary.
