x² Snub Disphenoid Unbandaged Cube

This is a very straightforward puzzle. As the name suggests, this is the unbandaged version of Snub Disphenoid.

The geometry of the solid is slightly distorted, so that the turns shown in image 6 (midturn 2) do not change the shape of the puzzle.

As the geometry of the solid is slightly distorted, illegal turning might happen without special attention. For 6 edges marked in Fig.1, it’s obvious that ①≠②=⑤=⑥≠③=④. Equal edges are substitutable, but unequal ones are not.

For example, in Fig.2 we could see that in Point A edge ① is in the position of edge ④, ①≠④, so “R” would be the illegal turning here. And in Point B edge ④ is in the position of edge ①, due to the same reason “F” would also be the illegal turning.

Actually the cutline of the puzzle would misalign when the illegal turns happened, and the turning would be not smooth. Although you could still finish the illegal turning without breaking the puzzles, unpredictable cases for following turning and solving might happen. So we sincerely advise you to pay more attention when you handle the puzzle to avoid illegal turning.

This cube has been printed by two kinds of method & material.

1. Light Green color :
    printed by SLA with Resin
    size : ~11.5x9.0 cm
    N.Weight ~135 g
    G.Weight: 400 g
    condition: 100% brand new, stickers placed.

2. Black color:
     Printed by SLS with Nylon,
     size : ~11.5x 9.0 cm
     N.Weight ~110 g
     G.Weight: 370 g
     condition: 100% brand new, stickers placed.

Storage remind: 
1. HDT of resin is approx. 55℃/131℉, so it’s necessary to store it in a cool place.
2. Resin is an easily oxidized material, so it should be kept in a dry place without sunlight. It’s suggested to put it in the original box, and it’s not a good choice to keep it on the cabinet or shelf directly.
3. The surface of the Nylon printed version is kind of no so smooth so the stickers may not easy to attach on. So please not replace the stickers if NOT necessary.
