this puzzle can solve in two ways: either as a cornerless 3x3 cube with center orientation, OR as an 8-face pyraminx. both are fun ways to solve! I didn't get the magnetic version, so sometimes I have to align the pieces slightly - in hindsight, the extra $4 for magnets might have been helpful here. either way, it's a fun little puzzle!
