The rotation of the cube and the movement of the ball can be a little stuck, but this does not interfare with play.
Even a nine year old could easily enjoy thi puzzle toy. If adults are playing, additional limitation may make them enjoy more, for instance, the second put it in after the first ball passed through several corners, or after scrambling as a Rubik's Cube, then reading whole route and doing time attack.
